Tim Cook stayed in a room worth 170 million VND and had French dinner in Hanoi

When arriving in Hanoi, Apple CEO Tim Cook stayed in a hotel room costing 170 million VND per night and had dinner at a French restaurant.

During his two-day working visit to Vietnam on April 15-16, Tim Cook had an evening dedicated to himself, according to a representative of the Sofitel Legend Metropole hotel. He stayed in one of the most luxurious rooms of the hotel located in the Opera Wing on Ly Thai To Street. The room has an announced price of 170 million VND, excluding taxes and fees.

“The simple and approachable style is what is most evident in this CEO,” said a hotel representative.

In the evening, Tim Cook had a quick meal in the private dining room of the French restaurant – Le Beaulieu. This is a restaurant associated with the hotel’s more than 120-year history with a luxurious, classic style mixed with modern touches, designed with white, yellow and quartz green tones. The restaurant is located on the first floor, overlooking the intersection of Ngo Quyen and Le Phung Hieu streets.

“Tim Cook’s dinner menu is prepared by the restaurant’s French chef, Charles Degrendele, along with the chefs,” the hotel representative added, saying that Tim Cook loves salads.

On the morning of April 15, right after arriving in Vietnam, he enjoyed egg coffee with singers My Linh and My Anh at a restaurant on Hang Be Street and expressed his love for this drink on page X.
