Masoud Pezeshkian wrote on the social network that the priority for Tehran is “national security and the peace of our people”.

“We will protect the nation’s rights with due responsibility and will not back down in the face of any threat,” he wrote in X.

“Diplomacy and defense are the two wings of national power. we have neither left the battlefield nor the negotiation table,” he added.

It was reported earlier that Israel and Iran have resumed military operations. It all started yesterday when Iran fired rockets at Israel in response to Israel’s attacks on one of Hezbollah’s main strongholds in Dahiya, a southern suburb of Beirut.

Israel’s army announced that it carried out large-scale retaliatory airstrikes against Iran’s defense systems in the central and western regions of the country. Iran, in turn, attacked various regions of Israel.
