The price of electricity will increase on Friday evening

The consumer prices of exchange electricity (incl. VAT 25.5 percent) will rise clearly towards the evening on Friday. The highest hourly price, 15.8 cents per kilowatt-hour, is reached in the evening at 10 p.m. This is a high price level that occurs about one-fifth of the time.

The hourly prices stated in the article are averages calculated from the four quarter-hour prices for each hour. The electricity exchange Nord Pool switched to 15-minute pricing from the beginning of October 2025.
