Green SM Limo electric taxi launched in India

The opening event of the electric taxi service was organized by Green SM on World Environment Day June 5, aiming to make green mobility more popular in India.

In the first phase, the company will deploy Green SM Limo service in key areas of the Delhi National Capital Region (Delhi NCR), aiming to expand the scope in each phase, to meet user needs. This service is operated by the 7-seat pure electric VinFast Limo Green car line, specifically developed by the company to serve passenger transportation.

According to Green SM, each car is equipped with drinking water, wet towels and amenities to serve users, including the S2S (Secure to Safe) safety system with cameras inside and outside the car, AI applications and emergency support buttons for passengers and drivers. Drivers for the trip are also trained by the company on electric vehicle operation, traffic safety and customer service skills.

In India, users can book a car through the Green SM application, contact the switchboard or pick up the car directly on the road. During the opening, Green SM offers a 50% discount (maximum 250 INR) for those who book a car through the app. The company said it also welcomes 5 strategic partners from the fields of transportation, tourism, technology and services to join the Green Alliance Frontier platform to connect green businesses and share a commitment to sustainable development.

Green SM was established in 2023 in Vietnam, currently present in international markets such as Laos, Indonesia, Philippines and India.
