Truth Social bán quyền xem trước bài đăng của ông Trump giá 100.000 USD mỗi tháng

Wall Street hedge funds can spend $100,000 a month to receive President Donald Trump’s posts on Truth Social a few milliseconds before the public.

August 2, NBC said Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) – the company that owns Truth Social – offers a service package called Truth API. This product allows financial businesses to receive notifications of new posts from the US President and top accounts on the platform before general users.

This service was launched by TMTG in the context of US President Donald Trump regularly using the Truth Social platform to post official statements about tariffs and the military. TMTG describes it as “a live, licensed, real-time feed from the biggest market movers on the platform”.

By using this service, Wall Street can receive messages from Mr. Trump before the public, as long as they pay the right price. According to The Guardian, the fee is up to 100,000 USD a month.

On Truth Social, President Trump has the largest number of followers, with 13 million followers. He regularly uses this social network to update information on global issues and economic policy. This method is in stark contrast to previous presidents, who often announced on official channels such as the press office and the White House website.

Many financial companies are now connecting and forwarding Mr. Trump’s posts to investors. However, direct data from Truth Social helps them receive news faster from a few seconds to a few milliseconds.

For a high-frequency trading financial company, accessing information faster than a few milliseconds can generate hundreds of thousands of dollars in profits.

The US President can also benefit from this new service, directly owning 41% of TMTG shares, according to the 2025 financial report.

However, TMTG’s sale of early access services to Mr. Trump’s posts faced opposition from many politicians. Senators Elizabeth Warren (Massachusetts) and Adam Schiff (California) called on the US Securities and Exchange Commission to investigate the legality of this service.

Mr. Trump introduced Truth Social in early 2022, after being banned from Twitter and other social media platforms for inciting the 2021 attacks on the Capitol.

After acquiring Twitter and renaming the platform to X in 2022, Elon Musk restored Mr. Trump’s access. The President also regained access to Facebook and Instagram in early 2023.

The day before Truth API launched, Trump Media shares rose 5.5% to $10.39 just before the market closed, according to Forbes. The new service is expected to expand revenue sources in the context that the company’s main revenue comes from advertising.
