As of today, regular passenger traffic on the Belgrade – Novi Sad railway

Regular passenger traffic started today on the Belgrade-Novi Sad railway, and there will be 16 departures from Belgrade and Novi Sad every day.

The railway intended for trains with a speed of up to 200 kilometers per hour was opened yesterday, and during the promotional period, until the end of April, the price of a one-way ticket will be 300 dinars.

High-speed trains called “Soko” will have seven direct rides a day from both directions, without stopping at the passing stations, for 36 minutes.

These are Inter City trains that depart from the Belgrade Center railway station for Novi Sad at 5.55, 7.34, 10.05, 14.05, 16.30, 18.03 and 20.05, and from Novi Sad to Belgrade Center at 7.04, 8.30, 12.01, 16.04, 17.45, 20.01 and 22.02.

The regional trains that will stop at the stops along the high-speed line will have nine departures from Belgrade and Novi Sad, and depart at 6.00, 7.00, 9.03, 11.00, 13.00, 15.15, 17.03, 19.10 and 22.20. Departure from Novi Sad is at 5.28, 7.46, 9.02, 11.01, 13.00, 15.17, 17.03, 19.16 and 21.01.

These trains will stop at the stations in Tošin bunar, Zemun, Zemun Polje, Batajnica, Nova Pazova, Stara Pazova, Indjija, Beška, Sremski Karlovci and Petrovaradin, and the ride will last from 55 to 57 minutes.

Tickets can be purchased at the chalets of the railway stations, but also at the ticket machines that are installed in all stations.

Regio express trains on the Belgrade-Novi Sad route will not run at the moment.
