American actor Vicent Pastore, known for his role in “The Sopranos,” dies at 80

The American actor Vincent Pastore, popularly remembered for his role as Salvatore ‘Big Pussy’ Bonpensiero in the acclaimed series “The Sopranos”, was found dead this Saturday at his residence in the Bronx neighborhood of New York.

It was a neighbor who found the body in his home after several days without hearing from the interpreter.

His representative has confirmed the death to the Fox News network, highlighting Pastore as “one of the kindest and most generous people” he has known and remembering that his legacy goes far beyond the iconic HBO drama.

With an audiovisual career spanning several decades, the Italian-American actor has also left his mark in film and television with participation in classics of the genre such as “One of Ours” (Goodfellas), “A Bronx Tale” (A Bronx Tale) or “Trapped by His Past” (Carlito’s Way).
