“ירד על הברכיים”: עדויות מרגעיו האחרונים של הכוכב המנוח

New details about Liam Payne’s last hours are revealed in the affidavits of two sex workers who claim to have been with him in a hotel in Buenos Aires on the day he died. According to documents obtained by the Mail on Sunday, the two told investigators that Payne, 31, went into an alcohol and drug binge after he failed to pay them $5,000 (about NIS 18,000), hours before he fell to his death from the balcony of his room on the third floor, from a height of about 14 meters, on October 16, 2024.

“During our time there, we only had consensual sex with him once, and he used protection,” Aldana Serrano and Lucila Guita said in their affidavits. According to them, after they asked for the agreed payment, Payne instead offered them his golden Rolex watch, worth 30,000 pounds (about 140,000 shekels), and when they refused – smashed it. One of them said: “We told him we only wanted money, so he took it and broke it. He told us he didn’t care about the money.”

According to the two, Payne said he could “get ten of those,” then hit the television in the hotel room three times. “He broke the TV, he punched her,” said one of the women. “He made us understand that he can break everything because he knows he can pay for it.” After the outburst, according to them, he calmed down, got down on his knees and asked them to stay. The affidavits claim that he told them that “money doesn’t make him happy”, sang his own songs while drunk, and later asked them for cocaine.

In a report published after his death, it was found that Payne had alcohol, cocaine and Klonopin, a strong sedative, in his body at the time of the fall. Payne arrived in Argentina 16 days before his death while waiting for his US visa to be renewed, and spent much of the trip with his partner Kate Cassidy and businessman Rogelio “Roger” Nourse. According to the report, for the first two weeks of his stay he was sober, until Cassidy returned to Miami on October 14 and Norse also left the country.

Later, according to the report, Payne left the luxury Park Hyatt hotel after allegedly damaging his room and angrily confronting staff members. From there he moved to the CasaSur Palermo hotel, where, according to the two women, he contacted them after finding a profile of one of them online. They said he sent pictures of him in bed and a video proving his identity, after one of them found it hard to believe she was corresponding with the former One Direction star.

The two said they arrived at the hotel around 11:30 in the morning, presented their IDs at the reception and went up to his room. According to them, there was a language problem between them: Payne only spoke English, they spoke Spanish, so they used a translation app to communicate. They said they stayed with him for about two hours, then asked again for the agreed payment.

After they said they decided to leave, Payne followed them to the hotel lobby, where they told staff about the alleged damage and the unpaid money. Later they returned for a short time to collect things they had left in the room. “He apologized for giving us a bad time,” said one of them.

The two said they left shortly before 4 p.m., while Payne was still behaving erratically before returning to his room. He fell to his death at 17:07, and according to them they found out what happened only after they saw reports on the networks, and later gave evidence to the police.
