Pokémon Pokopia, Part 1 of the Expansion Pass arrives on August 5th

At the center of Part 1 is the Bolleblub Seabed, a new underwater city in which players can move and explore. In the underwater environment it will be possible to grow watermelons thanks to the support of Pokémon expert in hydration, while other Pokémon specialized in electrification will be able to operate the bubble shooters or turn on the city street lamps. The Bolleblub Backdrop also introduces new Pokémon to meet, new outfits to wear, an upgrade for the Surf move and a new entry on the gastronomic front: smoothies.

A distinctive element of this expansion is the possibility of reaching, through a trench at the bottom of the sea, the depths immersed in darkness. In this area, players will be able to adventure in the company of other Pokémon, orienting themselves thanks to the light of the corals.

On a construction level, the Bolleblub Seabed introduces floating blocks, which allow the creation of structures suspended at different heights, only possible in an underwater context. Buildable projects include a Sharpedo Submarine and a secret base-style room.

As for Part 2, expected by the end of the year, The Pokémon Company has anticipated that players and their Pokémon will be able to wear accessories, as well as be able to count on new furnishings and new encounters. Further details are expected in the coming weeks.

In parallel with the launch of Part 1, the free update to version 2.0.0 of Pokémon Pokopia will also be available on August 5th, aimed at all owners of the game. The main novelty concerns the learning of the move Sub, taught by Manaphy, which will allow players to swim together with Water-type Pokémon and build structures directly underwater.
