Former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko confirms arrest at border with Poland

Representatives of Poroshenko accused the authorities on Saturday of violating the so-called political ceasefire. This refers to a tacit agreement to put aside the contradictions of domestic politics during the war.

“There is a danger that with this decision, the authorities have violated the ‘political ceasefire’ during the war, which is one of the pillars of national unity in the face of the Russian invasion,” representatives of the former president told Reuters.
