Strong rise in oil after Trump’s uncertain speech about the end of the war

In the midst of the crossfire between the United States and Israel against Iran and vice versa, oil prices once again showed a sharp rise this Thursday, after the North American president did not provide certainty about the end of the war and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

In this sense, Western Texas Intermediate registers an increase of 8.72% and is sold at US$ 108.88 per barrel. In turn, Brent crude oil, which is extracted from the North Sea, increased 8.19% and was trading at US$ 109.55 per barrel.
