The Chairman of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, who leads the Iranian delegation in negotiations with the United States, said that the dialogue was interrupted until the United States fulfills all its obligations under the memorandum of intent.

When implementing the agreement, disagreements are inevitable. And we follow the procedure established by the 13th paragraph of the memorandum,” he said.
This paragraph reads: “Upon the signing of the memorandum of understanding and receipt of assurances of the commencement of implementation of paragraphs 4, 5, 10 and 11, as well as the continued implementation of the measures provided for therein, Iran and the United States will begin negotiations on a final agreement solely with respect to the remaining articles.”
Ghalibaf also said that, according to the document, $12 billion of frozen funds will be transferred to the Iranian Central Bank, and they can be used in any currency and for any purpose.
