“Racism against whites”: new charges brought in France in the case of the murder of Thomas Perotto

The murder was committed at a village festival. Towards the end, a group of teenage immigrants from a neighboring town burst into the room where he was passing and attacked those present with knives. Toma received injuries incompatible with life. Two more people were seriously injured.

14 participants in the attack were charged with murder and attempted murder committed as part of an organized group. The new charge was based on testimony that the attackers shouted, “We’re here to kill white people!”
