Etihad Airways launches its newest destination in Saudi Arabia

Etihad Airways announced the addition of the Qassim region in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to its growing list of destinations, bringing the number of its destinations to the Kingdom to four, in a step aimed at expanding its network and enhancing connecting flights in the Middle East region.

The airline is scheduled to expand its presence by launching flights to one of the most attractive regions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As of June 15, 2024, Etihad Airways will connect Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi, directly with Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Gassim, with four weekly seasonal flights.

On this occasion, Eric Dee, Chief Revenue and Commercial Affairs Officer at Etihad Airways, said: “The launch of the new service to Gassim this year is not only about introducing a new destination, but it is also a celebration of 20 years of connecting the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, with rich culture and economic opportunities.” The variety offered by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
