Israeli Army urges evacuation of northern Gaza Strip as it prepares another operation

Israel’s security forces on Tuesday urged residents of the town of Beit Lahia, in the north of the Gaza Strip, to leave the area and move to other nearby cities as it prepares a new operation in the vicinity.

The Army spokesperson, Colonel Avichay Adraee, has thus disseminated in a message through that Human Rights defense organizations have been denouncing for months that there are no safe areas in Gaza.

However, the Israeli Army has insisted that it will continue to “operate against the terrorist infrastructure” of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Strip despite the fact that more than 34,200 people have already died in the Palestinian enclave since the last incident. October 7, the attacks carried out by the armed group against Israeli territory, resulting in 1,200 deaths.

After the start of the Israeli military incursion against Hamas, the Army urged the entire population of northern Gaza to move south, although some 300,000 people have decided to remain in the north despite the attacks.
