Giorgio Armani, 90 years old, and still the arbiter of elegance

For the moment, the main thread of the biopic still remains a secret. Will it follow the private life of Gorgio Armani and his love story Sergio Galeotti? Or should we expect a report on the incredible artistic and professional success of the Italian fashion designer, who started from nothing and destined for medicine.

Cinema as a first love

The biopic could return to Armani’s passion for cinema. Throughout his life he never hid his cinephilia. In 1980 released American Gigolo. Richard Gere plays this cynical seducer who will drive Lauren Hutton madly in love. Everything about him must exude glamour. Paul Schrader has an idea. He dresses his sultry gigolo in Armani, the height of chic and sexy. The Italian is in heaven, he proved thanks to the seventh that he had become one of the greatest couturiers in the world. Subsequently his label will appear in some 200 films. All of this deserved a biopic. No ?
