Rock in Rio Lisboa faces its last weekend with Lola Índigo, 21 Savage and Central Cee as the main attractions

The festival Rock in Rio Lisboa faces its second and last weekend with the performances of Lola Indigo, 21 Savage y Central Cee as main complaints.

The event, which celebrates its 11th edition, began last week with an ‘all sold’ sign on June 20 and 21 for performances by Katy Perry, Charlie Puth, Pedro Sampaio, Calema, Linkin Park, Kaiser Chiefs, Cypress Hill, The Pretty Reckless or Grandson. Thus, it brought together 200,000 people in the City of Rock and visitors from more than 125 countries.

The closing of the festival will be this Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28. The first day, for which there are still some tickets left, will be the turn of Stewart and her farewell tour, Cyndi Lauper, Shaggy or 4 Non Blondes, groups that intertwine several generations.

Afterwards, the festival will end with the urban touch of Lola Índigo, who is the only Spanish artist this year – she picks up the baton from Aitana two years ago -; 21 Savage, who will offer his only concert in Europe this year in Lisbon; Central Cee –it is their only festival date outside the United Kingdom–; Rema or Matuê.

Once again, the concerts will take place at the Parque Tejo venue in Lisbon and the music will be distributed on 4 different stages: Mundo stage, Music Valley stage, Super Bock stage and BacanaPlay Digital stage.

In addition, the venue will be transformed into a large theme park with attractions such as El Vuelo, an air show in which five Yak-52 planes will perform acrobatics and synchronized maneuvers over the sky of the City of Rock, accompanied by a soundtrack and more daytime pyrotechnic effects.

The Nissan Zipline also returns in front of the Mundo stage; the Ferris Wheel, which this year becomes the TikTok Open Stage presented by Coca-Cola with live shows from creators; and Route 85 inspired by the first edition of the festival in 1985, which will include the Cupido House for themed weddings and the CineStage space for the School of Rock.

Furthermore, on the occasion of the football world cup celebration, Rock in Rio Lisboa pays tribute to sport with the premiere of the Music and Football Arenaa space that aims to be a meeting point for fans and where matches will be broadcast live.

In fact, according to sources from the festival, the day on Saturday, June 27, will end around 3:00 a.m. for the match between the Portuguese team – the host country of Rock in Rio – against Colombia at 1:30 a.m.
